About the CPUKiller Browser Benchmark
Browser-based benchmarks measure JavaScript engine performance rather than raw CPU throughput. Results vary between Chrome, Firefox, and Safari due to different JIT compiler implementations. For the most consistent results, close other browser tabs and applications before running.
The four benchmark tasks cover the most common CPU workload types: integer arithmetic (games, compression), floating point (scientific computing, audio/video), memory bandwidth (data processing), and cryptographic operations (security, blockchain).
